Return Policy

Products

Products that have not been used or modified in anyway and in sellable condition can be returned within 30 days of purchase. To be sellable, it must still be clean, undamaged, unopened, and not having any unexpected scents (mold, cat urine, cigarettes, etc.)

Fabric we have cut off a bolt for you is unreturnable as are our scrap bags.

If you made your purchase online, please note we do not pay for return shipping. You are welcome to ship it at your own expense or return it in person to our store during our operating hours.

Class Policy

Age Requirement: The minimum age for our classes is 9 years old. From time to time, we may offer special classes for younger participants. Often these are called Sew With Me.

Fees and HST: Class fees do not include HST, which will be added at the time of registration.

Unless otherwise specified, the use of our sewing machines is included in the class price. A basic sewing kit is required for all classes and can be purchased separately.

Some classes require fabric, that you have specific equipment (e.g., rotary cutter, etc.) or a class kit. When this is the case, you will see it noted in the class description.

Missed Classes:

Please ensure you can attend all classes in your session, as makeup classes are not offered and refunds are not provided for a missed class.

If you know in advance of your registration that you cannot make a class, sometimes with advanced notice we can make an exception. This isn’t always possible and needs to be arranged prior to your registration.

Class Reminders: We do not send reminders, so please mark your calendar when you register.

Class Cancellations: If we must cancel a class due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund of all fees paid and we will notify you as soon as possible.

Refund Policy: Due to our limited class sizes, we kindly request that any cancellations be made with at least two weeks' notice before the scheduled class start date. This ensures we have the opportunity to offer your spot to another student.

• Full Refund: A full refund will be provided if cancellation is made at least two weeks before the class start date.
• Store Credit: If cancellation is made between two weeks and 48 hours before the class, we will apply a store credit to your account for use toward any future class.
• Last-Minute Cancellations: For cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance, payment will be forfeited unless we can fill your spot. While we will make every effort to do so, we cannot guarantee the spot will be filled on short notice. If we successfully fill your spot, you will receive a full refund.
• No Call/No Show: If you don’t attend a class you are registered for and you don’t let us know you won’t be attending, your payment will be forfeited, as we had to pay the instructor for their time to be there.
