A new and original idea by Jen Hogg, this silicone hemmer can flex in both directions. Use the holes to mark the position, pin the hemmer in place and press. It's perfect for shirt tails, necklines, skirt hems - anything curved. But pin it with a little tension to inhibit that curve and you can use it on straight hems too.
This product is EITHER metric or imperial, not both. Order the version you wish to work with.
Metric: 3cm wide, holes at 1cm and 2cm from either edge
Inch: 1" wide, the holes are 1/4" and 5/8" from one side, or 3/8" and 3/4" from the other side.
It's carefully designed for durability, with no rip points. The silicone is heat resistant up to 230°C or 446°F.

The product may be blue or grey. We have no control over the colour we get or thus will ship out. If you have a preference, you can note it, but we will stock with whatever we have in stock at the time.

Unused and unmodified products may be returned within 30 days of purchase, provided they are in their original, sellable condition.
To be considered sellable, items must be:
- Clean and undamaged
- Unused and unaltered
- Unopened, where applicable
- Free from unexpected or strong odours, including smoke, pet, mildew, or similar scents
Items that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted for return.
Cut Fabric
Fabric that has been cut from the bolt specifically for your order is final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Online Purchases
Online purchases that otherwise meet our return policy may be returned within 30 days. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
You may either ship your return to us at your own expense or return it in person at The Sewing Cafe during our regular store hours.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
