We revisited the basic leggings pattern and updated it with ingenious seaming (no center front seam!) and a gusset and option for a contoured waistband.
- View A has a wide contoured waistband with hidden elastic to keep your leggings in place.
- View B is finished with an elastic at the waist.
- Three length options: mid-thigh shorts, capri, ankle.
Because it has no front seam and no side seam, it is the perfect sewing pattern for asymmetrical spandex prints. The ultimate basic leggings pattern, that you can wear with a chic tunic or our free sweater pattern.

Recommended fabric: Stretch knit with stretch in the width AND length and a nice recovery (cotton spandex, nylon/spandex).

Cut Fabric
Fabric that has been cut from the bolt specifically for your order is final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Online Purchases
Online purchases that otherwise meet our return policy may be returned within 30 days. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
You may either ship your return to us at your own expense or return it in person at The Sewing Cafe during our regular store hours.
