Longarm Quilting
Yes, we do offer Longarm Quilting Services.
Tammy, the owner of the store, is a longarm quilter and quilting designer. She has computerized designs that she sells to other longarm quilters including the Copenhagen Quilted Coat pattern for humans, and the Cuddles Quilted Coat pattern for dogs! You can also find some of her digital longarm designs at ProStitcher.com. She quilts on the machine with the 10' frame instore (not in a public area).
Maggie does a lot of our longarming and was personally trained by Tammy on some of the hardest quilts you can imagine. She has a high standard of quality, and brings smiles to so many of our customers when they see their quilt expertly completed and ahead of schedule. Maggie quilts on a 12' frame in her home.
Quilted Coats
On top of longarm quilting for others, Tammy is able to longarm a quilted coat pattern's cut lines directly onto your quilt! Making it so you don't have to print, cut, or pin a paper pattern to get started!
If you are having your quilt quilted with us, let us know if you would like to have a quilted coat pattern stitched on as well.
Longarm Quilting
Our Edge-to-Edge quilting services include your choice of Edge-to-Edge (E2E) design from our extensive library of designs, the thread and bobbins necessary to quilt the quilt, and a meeting (either online or in person) to discuss your quilt, and what you would like to see so that we can emphasize your amazing quilt top (this is where we finalize which design you would like, your thread and bobbin colour, etc.
We have many of our available designed quilted out so you can see what they look like on fabric. Being computerized, we have more control over the size a design can be stitched and are easily able to adjust to fit the needs of your project.
Our current rate is $0.03 per square inch. Please note: Quilts enter the queue in the order that they are paid and received. If your quilt is not finished, we are unable to hold a place for it at this time.
Backing must be 4" larger than the top in all directions, add 8" to the length and the height of the quilt when working it out. This is absolutely necessary. Long seems if you are not using a wide-back fabric for your backing will be loaded so they appear horizontally. Batting must be 3" larger than the quilt top in all directions. We're okay with Franken-batting, but may reject your batting if it is poor quality. We are not trimming or binding quilts at this time.
