Join us for a creative and fun two-session Jelly Roll Rug class! With some sewing experience, you'll transform a jelly roll of fabric into a beautiful, one-of-a-kind rug. The class fee includes the use of our sewing machines, a jean needle, and a pattern for an oval rug.

What You'll Need:

• Jelly roll fabric pack (or 40-42 strips - 2.5" x width of Fabric). Fabric strips and batting must be cut and ready to go prior to the first class.
• 1.3m of batting that is 93" wide, cut into 2.25" strips or 50' precut rolls at 2.5" wide
  • We have a limited supply of precut jelly roll batting available at the store due to supply chain issues, you are welcome to purchase it elsewhere. 
• Thread - bring a few colours, to be discussed in class.
• Rotary cutter, pins, scissors, seam ripper, straight awl and binder clips (highly recommended).

You'll receive a 15% discount on any materials purchased for the class. Please let us know if you'll be shopping for class supplies.

Cutting your own strips? For very fast cutting before class, you are welcome to use our Accuquilt cutter. Please call to arrange a suitable time.  

Important Information:

• No makeup classes are available, so please ensure you can attend both sessions.
• Expect a significant amount of homework between and after the sessions to complete your rug.
• The jelly roll rug shown in the image is a sample; your rug will be unique based on your fabric choices.
