The Velocity 240IR Steam Iron is equipped with an 8-minute auto-off. To disable the auto-off, hold the steam button for 5 seconds. The unit will beep and the lights will flash letting you know the auto-off is disabled. To enable the auto-off, repeated the same process. If the iron is unplugged, the auto-off will reset to the enabled setting.
