Sewing Basics Level 1 is for the complete beginner or if need of a refresher from your high school Home Ec class. You require this course, or have equivalent experience to this class prior to taking any of our quilting classes.
You will learn:

how to thread a sewing machine

basic stitches and when to use them

pinning

cutting out basic patterns

creating buttonholes

sewing on buttons

inserting a zipper
Cost includes all materials and use of our sewing machines in our classroom.
You will need to bring a basic sewing kit consisting of fabric scissors, pins, measuring tape, seam ripper, hem gauge and hand sewing needles. We sell complete kits for $34.95+HST Please indicate in the NOTES if you require one.
