Sewing & Care Recommendations

• Needle: Microtex / Sharp needle, size 70/10 or 80/12 (sharp tips cleanly pierce dense lyocell twill without snagging or pulling fibers).

• Cutting Tip: Lyocell twill can be shifty on the cutting table. Use pattern weights, a rotary cutter, and cut in a single layer for best accuracy.

• Pressing: Use a medium heat setting with steam and a press cloth. Avoid pressing directly with a hot, dry iron to prevent unwanted shine along seam allowances.

• Seam Finish: Finish seam edges with a serger/overlocker, French seams, or a clean Hong Kong bias finish to prevent fraying during wear and washing.

• Care Instructions: Hand wash or machine wash cold on a delicate cycle using a mild, bleach-free detergent. Line dry or lay flat in the shade to maintain the sueded finish; tumble drying is not recommended as it can cause permanent wash creases and fibrillate surface fibers. Iron on low-medium inside out if needed.
