Once opened, sewing machines, sergers, coverstitch machines, and embroidery machines are non-refundable.

New Janome machines include a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. Open-box and demo machines are excluded and do not include an additional warranty, unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.

In the rare event that a new machine appears to be defective directly out of the box, it will be sent to Janome for assessment under warranty.

Janome will determine the appropriate resolution based on their assessment. This may include repairing the machine or, when deemed necessary by Janome, providing a replacement machine.

The Sewing Cafe cannot guarantee or authorize a replacement machine before the original machine has been assessed by Janome.

Sewing Machine, Serger, Coverstitch & Embroidery Machine Returns

Sewing machines, sergers, coverstitch machines, and embroidery machines may be returned within 30 days of purchase only if the box remains unopened.

Once the box has been opened, the machine is considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

For an unopened machine to be eligible for return, the original box and packaging must also be in clean, undamaged, sellable condition, with no significant dents, tears, holes, or other damage.

Machines that have been opened or have damaged packaging will not be accepted for return.
