Intro to Artistic Digitizer

Join us Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10am–3pm for a beginner-friendly introduction to Janome’s Artistic Digitizer with the experts from Janome!

Ready to take the next step in your embroidery journey? This hands-on class will help you get comfortable with Artistic Digitizer and start creating with confidence. You’ll learn how to:

• Customize your workspace

• Navigate the software and explore the essential tools

• Edit and customize premade or purchased embroidery designs

• Make simple adjustments to create designs that are uniquely yours

• Get more comfortable working with embroidery software

What to Bring

You’ll need to bring your own laptop with Artistic Digitizer installed and ready to use. A mouse is also strongly recommended for easier editing and navigating the software.

Don’t have Artistic Digitizer yet, or want to try Artistic Digitizer 2.0? Let us know when you register and we’ll make sure you have a trial code so you can follow along in class.

Please make sure your software is installed before arriving so you can spend the day learning rather than troubleshooting installation.

We’ll provide everything else you need for the class. Bring your questions and a lunch if you’d like!

Please note: This class will be held in our upstairs classroom, so stairs are required.

Lunch & Snacks

We’ll take an hour for lunch and shopping. We’ll have some light snacks to share, such as hummus and veggies, cheese and crackers.

There are also several great lunch options nearby. Our local cheese shop makes amazing sandwiches, and we can check out their selection that morning and arrange to have one held for you to pick up at lunchtime if you’d like.

If you have a severe food allergy, please let us know at least 3 days in advance so we can do our best to avoid bringing those foods into the classroom.
